Martin studied at the University of Regensburg, Germany, and finished his Bavarian state examination with honors, focusing on European and International Private Law.

After years of experience in large law firms both domestically and internationally, he has established his practice at the NZP NAGY LEGAL PartG mbB in Nuremberg. He enhances our expertise with his extensive know-how in key areas of commercial law, particularly in data protection law, IT law, e-commerce, and unfair competition law.

In addition, with his excellent country-specific knowledge of Bulgarian law and language, he heads our Bulgaria Desk at the firm, providing services to our clients with business relations in Bulgaria and representing them in litigation before Bulgarian state courts and arbitration tribunals. He also offers legal advice and representation for Bulgarian companies in the Federal Republic of Germany. This range of services includes not only the aforementioned areas but also company formation, commercial and corporate law, and civil law.

Moreover, he serves as an external data protection officer, undertaking operational tasks primarily for companies, merchants, agencies, and freelancers. He is also an author specializing in data protection law.

Peter specialises in cross-border transaction disputes and international arbitrations. He is also in charge of cases which require a special set of legal knowledge and language skills in Hungarian, Russian and Spanish.

Peter graduated in Hungary at the University of Budapest (formally known as Royal Hungarian University); the oldest university in the country which is still preserved to date. As part of his higher education, Peter also studied law at the University of Valencia, Pushkin State University and Herzen University.

Peter has been a valuable member of our team for many years. Alongside his legal practice at our firm, Peter also worked as a PhD researcher for the Department of International Law at the University of Passau, Germany. His research is focused on the ownership rights of offshore oil and gas reserves of the Caspian Sea after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Norbert was born in Hungary and studied law in Debrecen (Hungary) and Passau (Germany), where he completed his degree with honors.

In 2005, he joined NZP in Nuremberg after working several years at the Federal Ministry of Defense (Bundesministerium für Verteidigung). Initially, he worked as a lawyer for 10 years, and now he serves as Of Counsel Rechtsassessor in all areas of German-Hungarian commercial law.

Due to his additional studies and years of litigation experience in all instances of Hungarian civil courts, his special areas of expertise include Hungarian commercial law, particularly on behalf of German insolvency administrators, Hungarian insolvency and company law, contract and property law. He is especially involved in the development of case law concerning the compensation for void property purchase agreements under Hungarian property law in the interest of affected real estate agents.

Recently, his fight for the landmark judgments on the nullity of so-called foreign currency loans provided by Hungarian financial institutions has received a lot of attention in the Hungarian press and media.

His significant practical knowledge primarily lies in Hungarian civil law and procedural law. Additionally, he has expertise in shareholder disputes, director and officer liability, compensation claims of commercial agents, distributors, independent branch managers and franchisees under EU, Swiss and Hungarian law, as well as in legal disputes concerning goods deliveries.

Furthermore, his extensive practical knowledge encompasses International Private Law, European Civil Procedural Law, and international arbitration proceedings.

He has particular expertise in various European arbitration rules and contract drafting, especially the design and finalization of export/import goods delivery contracts, procurement contracts, general terms and conditions, distribution contracts, license agreements, articles of association, shareholder agreements, and severance agreements under German, Hungarian, and international private law standards, in German, Hungarian, and English language
