Key issues include the identification of defects in complex AI systems, the allocation of liability among economic operators, and the implications of the revised framework for consumer protection.
The event provides an opportunity for academic discussion on the legal challenges arising from artificial intelligence and technological innovation, particularly where traditional product liability principles intersect with increasingly autonomous and complex digital products.
