Falten només dos anys per al Brexit, però moltes empreses ja busquen una nova seu, traslladant la seva oficina central a un altre estat dins del cercle dels membres de la UE que continuen formant-ne part, per poder continuar accedint amb avantatge al mercat de la UE. Tanmateix, triar una nova ubicació no és tan fàcil.

Mentre que moltes empreses estan més interessades en Frankfurt am Main, algunes opten per ubicacions alternatives com Bank of America, que recentment va decidir anar a Dublín.

Però també hi ha nombrosos motius per triar Nuremberg o els seus voltants. En comparació amb Frankfurt am Main, hem resumit alguns arguments evidents:

• Taxa de recollida baixa i, per tant, una càrrega fiscal menor
• Programes de finançament atractius de l'Ajuntament i de la Regió Metropolitana de Nuremberg (oficina gratuïta sota certes condicions, a més d'assessorament fiscal i jurídic gratuït)
• Paquet de benvinguda per a emprenedors de l'estranger
• Promoció intensiva de la innovació amb els recursos privats i públics locals.
• Una regió d'innovació tecnològica, d'alta tecnologia i de tecnologies del futur, incloent-hi els anomenats “campions ocults”.
