Omer Batuhan Dogan, Associate at NZP NAGY LEGAL, will participate as an Invited Speaker at the 2nd International Law Congress of Turkic States, taking place on 3–4 November 2026 in Northern Cyprus.

At the Congress, he will deliver a presentation entitled:

“Reconsidering Liability and Insurance in the Age of Autonomous Vehicles: A Comparative Analysis of the Hungarian and Turkish Legal Frameworks”

The presentation will address the evolving legal challenges associated with autonomous vehicles, focusing on questions of civil liability and insurance within the Hungarian and Turkish legal frameworks. Through a comparative legal perspective, the research considers how existing liability principles and insurance arrangements relate to the development and deployment of autonomous driving technologies.

The Congress will bring together legal scholars, practitioners and representatives from participating countries to examine contemporary legal developments, including artificial intelligence, intellectual property, energy law, transportation and insurance law, migration, security law, mediation and economic cooperation among the Turkic States and observer countries.

The event provides an international academic forum for comparative legal discussion and the development of scholarly cooperation across jurisdictions.

This academic engagement reflects NZP NAGY LEGAL’s commitment to connecting legal scholarship with international legal practice, particularly in emerging areas of law involving technological innovation, civil liability, insurance and comparative private law.
