Keine sinnlosen Software-Updates, sondern eine Verpflichtung der Automobilindustrie zur Umrüstung auf die Euro-6-Norm auf eigene Kosten. Das sind die Forderungen von Hartmut Bäumer, einem ehemaligen Politiker der “Grünen”, an Michael Müller, den regierenden Bürgermeister der Stadt Berlin. Bäumer, der selbst betroffen ist, ließ sein Dieselauto dem Software-Update unterziehen, das laut Bezirksamt vorgeschrieben war. Das Ergebnis: Durch das Update sanken die Schadstoffemissionen nur geringfügig. Der NOx-Wert verzeichnete zwar einen Rückgang um 37 mg, lag mit 1.134 mg jedoch immer noch deutlich über dem zulässigen Grenzwert von 180 mg. Der umweltschädliche CO2-Wert stieg sogar um 71 TP3T an. Eine Antwort des Bürgermeisters steht derzeit noch aus.
